The idea for this girl, Seruliya, was given to me at random by a friend of a friend who was looking through my bird reference book. She said she liked midnight blue, and pointed out the bird with that color plumage; thus, Seruliya is a blue whistling-thrush. Her name is just a fancy phonetic spelling of 'cerulean,' minus the 'n'.
On a side note, I've seen/heard people complain that birds are hard to turn into anthros. Dunno why they say that. I personally think this bird girl is borderline sexy, and I'm straight  Pardon me for making this observation. >.> I do/say things like this when I'm tired.
