Nothing really to see here right now. I just wanted to have a clean journal up for now. I'll probably change it later when something comes up.

Update: Mom's now back home, after having a heart surgery to repair a small hole in her heart. But we gotta be careful around her still. I'm just glad she's back home and okay. A little unsteady on her feet, naturally, but that's to be expected.

By the way, Mom's still in the hospital, getting tests run and everything. The doctors said she had the best kind of stroke, if one is going to have any kind of stroke. The two blood vessels running parallel to her spine were the ones affected, not the jugular or carotid vessels, like most folks think of when they hear "stroke".

Let's hope that brain swelling goes down >< She should be coming home sometime this week too, thank goodness. ^-^ :w00t: We should get her some gorgeous flowers for her welcome!!
